Professor Jamal Nassar, Dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at California State University, San Bernardino, will deliver a lecture titled, The Arab Spring: Causes and Consequences, on March 19, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in the Old Main Room in the Bone Student Center. The event is open to public.
Dr. Nassar is an Emeritus Professor of Illinois State University who led the Department of Politics and Government as Chair between 1998 and 2007. Professor Nassar is an accomplished author and an expert on Middle East.
Nassar’s publications include Globalization and Terrorism: The Migration of Dreams and Nightmares; Politics and Culture in the Developing World; Intifada: Palestine at the Crossroads; The Palestine Liberation Organization: From Armed Struggle to the Declaration of Independence; and Change Without Borders: The Third World at the End of the Twentieth Century.
